Non-Invasive Liposuction

September 2, 2009 by Andy Murphy

If you are looking for a non invasive liposuction procedure, you have options, just not the type of options that you may be looking for. Even if you do opt for a standard liposuction expect to lose, at most, 10 pounds. Most times, lipos are performed on patients needing mild touch ups, not a full blown fat removal.

lipodissolve: This involves injecting a solution with a needle into the fat, essentially making it melt away. Although this method works, its not like it is going to make you see any significant weight loss.

Injecting a mixture into your fat is a procedure that is not recommended by many medical professionals. Because there are no rules as to what the mixture should be, you can be injected with an unsafe cocktail.

This noninvasive liposuction does not have the FDA’s approval, nor do plastic surgeons recommend this procedure. Nobody knows what the exact side effects of this procedure are. Some speculate that your cholesterol will increase and that you may have liver problems once the fat gets into your blood stream.

What about other noninvasive treatments? Isn’t there anything else that is better? UltraShape, which will set you back around $4,000, emits sound waves into your fat tissue. Because you will only experience minimal weight loss, it is not a good solution.

The very best thing you can do for yourself, in terms of losing weight, is diet & exercise. In fact, it is the best noninvasive liposuction treatment you can get. Lets assume that after a standard liposuction, you lose 5 pounds. Once that fat is removed (which isn’t much in the first place), you’re going to have to diet and exercise to make sure that your weight doesn’t go back up.

Whats a good method to lose weight fast? High intensity interval training (simply Google it for more information). Rather than running at a steady pace, you run in high intensity and low intensity intervals.
