Considered – How Should I Lose Thirty Pounds Quickly

September 4, 2009 by Scott Edwards

Weight Reduction Is Massive… And huge business empires have grown out of this. So it’s not unreasonable to assume that as so much money is spent every year, slimming businesses face the temptation to take advantage of overweight people.

Just How Much of a Problem Is There Then? Maybe you’re not classed as obese, but you’re probably somewhat overweight if you’re reading this. Amazingly, over two-thirds of the US populace are classed as needing weight loss. Put another way, that’s 210 millions!

Other countries are catching up fast too… Yet we don’t wish to win this race…

Take the United Kingdom – nearly a quarter of all adults are considered obese. But look at this – By 2050 the obesity level could be ninety per cent!

Are those figures really set in concrete? No-one wants this trend to continue. Proper eating programs are required reading; ignore all the hype from diet pill manufacturers.

It’s a well known fact that obesity can lead to many major problems – Type two diabetes; mental health problems; high blood pressure; heart disease and heart failure; cancer; liver disease; osteoarthritis and high cholesterol.

So our health is at stake – the weight must come off. You need to be able to maintain the optimum weight for you. The right weight for one person isn’t necessarily the right one for someone else. We all need to be able to maintain a certain weight when we’ve reached it.

Our sons and daughters weight is also important. As caring moms and dads, we should be leading the way and teaching good habits to our kids. Keep doing the same thing, and both you and the kids will have to live with the consequences. Do you really want that burden for your offspring?
